Arena Commander and Rewards

Arena Commander is planned to be an in simulation game played from a sim pod within the Star Citizen universe. Currently, for Star Citizen Alpha, Arena Commander is accessed through the main menu. Single player and multiplayer game modes are available for open flying, dogfighting, and ship racing.

There are two PVE game modes that reward forum badges and titles along with access to unique Pledge ships that are not available unless complete these modes.

Pirate Swarm

Hold off an onslaught by the infamous NovaRider gang and some of their most notorious members. Your ships are limited, so excessive casualties will result in defeat.

Rewards

By defeating the Pirate Swarm in a multiplayer match, the “2949 Pirate Aggressor” title will be awarded to your account, unlocking access to pledge for the Aegis Gladius or Drake Caterpillar – Pirate Edition on the Pledge Store.

Vanduul Swarm

Hold off an overwhelming Vanduul onslaught led by several infamous ace pilots. UEE ships are ion limited supply so excessive casualties will result in defeat.

Rewards

By completing all waves of a multiplayer Vanduul Swarm match, you will earn the “2946 Aggressor” title, which will also grant your account the necessary clearance to pledge for the coveted Vanduul Glaive, subject to availability…

Currently Vanduul Swarm is not Rewarding the title or access to the Vanduul Glaive Pledge. It should appear in Pledge store even if the Glaive is not available. This is a known issue.
